All-on-8 is a fixed full-arch bridge of 12–14 teeth screwed onto eight implants in one jaw. It is chosen when there is good bone along the whole arch and the most support is wanted: eight implants share the chewing load, so each carries less. Like All-on-4 and All-on-6, it replaces teeth that are missing or cannot be saved; it is not a cosmetic-only treatment. One arch costs €4,500 with ceramic teeth or €5,600 in zirconia.
Eight implants give the most support points of the three full-arch options, so the load on each implant is lower and the bridge stays stable even if one implant has a problem. The bridge is fixed, has no palate and is cleaned like natural teeth. The implants carry a written 10-year warranty and the teeth 5 years. The trade-off is more surgery, more bone needed and a higher price than All-on-4 (€3,200) or All-on-6 (€3,800).
All-on-8 suits people who have lost all or most teeth in one jaw and have enough bone, height and width, for eight implants along the arch. When bone is short, All-on-4 or All-on-6, or a bone graft first, are the safer choices; the quote explains the options with prices. Reasons to wait: heavy smoking you will not reduce, uncontrolled diabetes, intravenous bisphosphonate therapy, recent radiotherapy to the head or neck, age under 18.

The definitive arch is designed by prosthodontist Dr. Marsida Kume and made in our own laboratory. Yes. The arch is designed on your face, lip line and bite, with teeth and a gum-coloured base made in our laboratory in ceramic or zirconia, and you approve the try-in before the final arch is made.
The number of implants under the same fixed bridge: four, six or eight. More implants share the load better but need more bone. Prices per arch in ceramic: €3,200, €3,800 and €4,500. The CT scan shows which one your bone allows.
Brush twice a day, clean under the bridge with interdental brushes or a water flosser, and come for a check-up and professional cleaning once a year, in Tirana or with your dentist at home. Good cleaning is also a condition of the warranty.
Usually 3–6 months, which is why the definitive arch is fitted on a second trip. During that time you wear fixed temporary teeth (in suitable cases) or a temporary denture.
For the first days: smoking, hot drinks, very hard or sticky food and chewing on the surgical area. Eat soft food while the implants heal and follow the written instructions you receive in the clinic.
The surgery is done under local anaesthesia, so you feel pressure but not pain; conscious sedation (€350) or general anaesthesia (€1,000) are available. Expect swelling and soreness for 2–4 days, managed with ordinary painkillers.
The implants can last decades with good cleaning and yearly check-ups; long-term studies report implant survival above 95% at 10 years. The teeth on the bridge wear and may need renewing after many years. Written warranty: 10 years on the implants, 5 years on the teeth.
